Hey everyone, once again, this is Umar, and this is video four in this series.
And what we're going to take a look at is what stops us from building the life that we want, what stops us from being happy? Because one part of our mind is basically I want to be happy, right? I want to accomplish these amazing things, and I'll be happy and it's gonna be amazing. But sometimes we go to do those things and something blocks us, something stops us, something sabotages us. And one of the symptoms of that is that inner voice that comes up that goes, "You are not worthy, you're too ugly, you're too short, you're too pretty, or whatever," right? So the question is what stops us?
Well, it turns out what stops us? Is their self image. How do we see ourselves? Because there's many times you look at somebody that looks, you know, quite attractive, maybe not as attractive as me, probably more so. And but when you ask them, how do you, how do you look to them? It's like, "No, I feel ugly," or I feel less than I pretend to be happy. I pretend to be powerful," but inside it's like no. So when you have that those joining forces of who we show the outside world can be in pretty, or smart or successful. But the inside world, what we who we think we are is like, " I'm unworthy, I'm a fake, I'm a fraud on the imposter," it creates stress and the stress drives happy, the sound, that stress lowers your level of performance, that stress makes life less than it could be. And what you need to do is to get rid of that, right? So part of your journey is figuring out what those things are that block you, and what blocks you are one of three things...
Number one, a limiting belief that got established somewhere in your past, some events happened, and you made a belief that said, I'm not good enough. I'm not smart enough, I'm not tall enough, I'm unlovable, I'll never be successful, or money is a bad thing, or whatever that belief is it sabotages your efforts.
The second way that you get blocked, is sometimes you have one part of your mind that says I'm going to be successful, I'm going to be amazing, I'm going to be powerful, I'm going to be happy. And another part saying no, you're not, you're not good enough, you're not smart enough, you're not tall enough, you're too tall, you're too good looking people won't take you seriously. And this that struggle, internal conflict is a second way.
And the third way is we go to do certain things. And when we go to do them, we are fantastic. But when we go to do bigger things, things that would make a difference in our lives. Soon as you go to do them, it trips, some kind of tripwire inside your mind, that starts wakes up that negative voice to sabotage your efforts, it makes you think I'll never be successful, it makes you pull your punches. So you go to do what you need to do, and all you need to do is just follow through and you'll be successful. But when you go to do it, anxiety comes up, fear comes up and you pull your punch, you don't get the results that you want.
So that my friends is what we need to do is figure out what are the mental blocks that stop you from being successful, because you can struggle against them, but it takes willpower is exhausting, it creates stress. But if you could figure out ways to break through those, and that's, you know, my mission in life is helping people break through those things. And I'm developing tools for you that are going to show you in an eight-week journey, how to identify those areas where you're blocked and learn how to unblock yourself. So you free up all that energy, so you become stronger, you become more more driven, more passionate, you have more happiness, because when you break through those barriers, it's like you've been carrying 1000 pounds on your shoulders. And obviously you break through one of those barriers and 250 pounds gets lifted off. And pretty soon before you know it, all the things you've been carrying around all that baggage dopes off, and the only thing remaining is you, powerful, strong, magical. And you need that to build the life that you truly want.
